i get my oats from the dollar store like 5 pounds for 2 bucks and its not hard to see pupae .. and he is breeding meals not micro and other than that i have no idea what your talking about
Why does everybody insist on using oats ?? The absolute best thing to use is wheat bran. You can get it in the organic section in the grocery store. It is cheap, like $1.40 a pound is about 5 or six cupfulls. Oats stink because the pupae are hard to see, the worms don’t eat the oats as well, the micro worms don’t get eat as well because the oats are too big, It makes it a nightmare to pick batches of worms out, Use wheat bran you will thank me..
