900,000 tonnes of coffee already exported

By early August, Vietnam has exported 900,000 tonnes of coffee, earning around US$2 billion.

According to the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association, total coffee export volume is estimated to reach 1.3 million tonnes this year, representing a value of nearly US$3 billion.

The coffee supply on the global market is currently limited, causing the price to rise. In addition, Vietnam’s key cultivation areas are likely to achieve high productivity with at least 3 tonnes of coffee beans per hectare – VOV
