How to create a bonsai tree from a nursery juniper, part one. We start with a five gallon nursery juniper, clean out undergrowth, and prune it down to three trunks, to make a three trunk raft style juniper bonsai. Part Two deals with wiring and shaping. Part Three deals with wiring branches and potting the tree in a bonsai pot.

  3. im a newbie at this, but in a starter such as this is ther not a possibility of multiple specimies from this particular plant? Possibly go for a challenge and try to do multiple “sister” plants? and to not waste so much of a beautiful plant?

    i counldnt even figure out what to do with an ordignary nursery juniper. i’ve been on and off bonsai for 2 yrs now. so im starting to get back into it agen.

  6. My videographer, and director. In later videos we worked out a series of hand signals she uses to let me know when the camera is rolling, how many minutes of video we have, when she will cut, etc. But this was an early video, and we were still figuring things out.
