KLC School of Design – Garden Design at Hampton Court Palace

This video is a review of the one year part time Diploma in Garden Design at KLC School of Design, whos garden design studios are located at Hampton Court Palace. The film shows views of the inspiring garden location at Hampton Court, and the studio located in one of the apartments in the Palace. Students are seen in early concept workshops and presenting one of their projects based on a dye garden – a traditional type of garden where plants were grown to provide dyes for fabric. KLC provides courses in interior design and garden design with studios at Chelsea Harbour, London (interior design courses) and at Hampton Court Palace (garden design courses). There are various methods of study to suit different lifestyles (full time, part time, blended learning and open learning), with durations from one day to one year (full time), or two years (blended learning). From September 2010 KLC’s Diploma in Interior Design will be validated by Brighton University.
