on my emerald, i found a tip on breeding. level your pokemon up and theyll breed faster. last night i saw a smeargle and liked it so me and dustin went to smeargle cave and we caught one went to the day care and put it in there with his ditto. so then we went to blizzard beach and all of a sudden hes like they had an egg and they ended up having 9 eggs in 2 days

1. put a ditto with other pokemon in daycare
2.go out and talk to the daycare man
3. walk for more 300 steps
4.talk to man again and he give u a egg
5.if he doesnt give u a egg walk 300 again and talk to him again ect
The egg hatches after a number of eggs which varies from pokemon to pokemon, for example the happiny egg you get early on in the game takes 10,250 steps which you can count on your step counter then save 10 steps before it hatches to make sure you get the nature you want…
