Hey,
do u have to poke holes in the lid of the deli cup containers ? thx!
I bought some Superworms today! They are filled with pellet bedding and they hide under it. I am caring for them as pets so can they live with a pellet bedding?
How long should you wait before isolating them?
THese guys are freaking hardy. I had one that pupated and it hasn’t turned into a beetle yet. I was really busy at that time so I just threw it into a random container. I came back after like a few weeks and it survived on no food and no moisture and its still alive!. Dont worry I feed and stuff now. But I just found that amazing!
so after the eggs are in the substrate, do u just leave the bettels in there? Also can u use that tank over and over again with bettels until the larva get big enough to be put in the tank full of feeder superworms?
hello sir! i have a question pls do answer.. im also breeding but just started.. is it normal that there are dying superworms when you separate them?? 🙂
i have a question sir! if the beetle laid eggs already what should i do with the eggs? just wait them to grow? or need to separate them?? thanks!! :))
@billFpoole cheers im not taking any chances now that ive heard that im puting a pin through the worms head
@MrBurty5 I can see that with the lager lizards with more of a powerful bite. The small lizards that pretty much swallow whole are more susceptible to it.
@HermitGuy101 my oscars used to eat super worms
@billFpoole my dragons bite these in half they wont live long enough to harm my dragons stomach
if i buy worms now to breed how long before i have good size food for my dragons
I had a meal worm eat through the stomach of a Blue Tailed Skink. So, it is not a rumor, it just doesn’t happen often. You just need to pinch the meal worms head a little with your finger nails before you drop it in front of your lizard. The meal worm will still wiggle and the lizard snatches it up.
it’s pupa i know i have a book
if u out meal worm beattles with super worm beatles will thay kill each other? and how long does it take for the pupa to turn into bettles
can you isolate mealworms too?
how did u make the holes? did u stab them or wat?
@HermitGuy101 Mealworms can not eat through reptiles stomachs..period….end of story…it’s all a rumor
there are a bunch of those beetles in my yard :O…EXACTLY THE SAME!…hmmm maybe i can catch them and force them to lay eggs and get super worms lol
how long do you have to wait until they pupate
I just wanted to point this out, super worms have a hard outer shell that makes it hard to digest for baby Leos, and they can bite. So If your going to feed these, make sure only to adult Leos, and to smother their head first.
good info
Great info
i really dont no but it is prob like 3-6 months???? like i said i dont no.
how long do the worms get before they are fully grown?
