  1. i hav 2 snakes. what im doing is breeding one litter of mice and my snake punches through all the babies in a few months. then when i need more mice i breed them again. feed the male when ur done with it.

  2. I have one snake, and I wouldn’t go through mice super quickly, (one mouse per week) so I could not leave them to breed constantly. What do you suggest I do with the male until I need to breed them again? Also, can you tell me about what percentage of a litter(?) is male?

  3. where do you keep the mice? looks like it may be a garage, not too sure though.

cus i’ve got them in my toom in the same rubbermaid tub or whatever, but they smell like crap after a week. if they are kept in the garage, or whatever room, about that is the temp in there? cus my garage is about 75 in the day and 50 at night and morning, don’t want the mice to die and not have snake food lol

  4. update, we used the dog food, just got our babies, 35 from 4 moms 2 to 6 days old. thanks again the dog food kicks butt.

  5. great video thanks so much, so simple and will save a ton on live mice. we did your project x2 for my sons 3 snacks.
smart boy, thanks alot for the idea.

  6. hey…. i have a question… i am about to have my first litter of mice , but i had to fed off the male mice so no i have 2 females and no male….. if in this litter some males go out , can i use one of those as male? i mean do mice breed with their mother and sisters?? ok ty

  7. I use ceder or pine in this instance pine. aspen is usually more expensive since it doesn’t have oils that are bad for reptiles.

  8. that’s right dog food has all the nutrients they need, at a fraction of what mouse diet cost.i bought a bag of 22lb. in July and just ran out now in December. it lasted 5 months, and the bag only cost $7.

  9. some times mice do wird stuff and get over it but if the female continuously attacks the female either buy a new male or buy a new female.
