  1. Hey dude ! 😀
I have this problem every single time.
I have a nice looking maale that i wanna breed with another nice-looking female such as male mickey with doublesword female but the male just won’t fertilise the females.
Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are all either 0 or safe zone(can’t remember) and pH is 7.2. Tips?

I don’t know anything about cichlids! Sorry! And if you want to get rid of them, sell them back to the local fish store! Depending on the store, sometimes you can get store credits to buy more fish!

It will usually be swimming around differently. And sometimes it’s mouth will be moving constantly. To unstress them, get some good water conditioner. They usually have something in them that calms the fish. Also make sure there are a lot of plants!

  5. @juanesbond

No that is not a problem at all! And yes put a lot of plants in the tank! The more the better!

I know that is a tetra, but I am not sure what the exact name is. There are a lot of fish that look like this and have different names!
