(Please Read) Due to the lengh of the video I had to split it up. Sorry if it causes any problems… This is my official guide on getting a Gold Chocobo, Gotta say it took me a while so Iam going to go through and put down some of the info I mention in here just so no one gets confused. So pay attention! The monster and Chocobo combination to ensure the kinds of chocobo’s you will need. Good Chocobo Can be found in the Golden Saucer Area The chocobo must be accompanied by Spencer Great Chocobo Can be found in the Mideel area The chocobo must be accompanied by Spiral Wonderful Can be found in the Icicle Inn area Chocobo must be accompanied by Hopper (NOTHING ELSE) Good +Great + A Rank = Blue or Green Blue + Green+ A Rank= Black Black + Wonderful+ A Rank = Gold Remember a Chocobos gender is not determined untill you move it in the stables at the ranch. Overall this little guide took me alot of time to put together

  3. i keep on getting green males when i need a female green cuz i got the blue male. i keep restarting the game and its always a male!!!!!!! any tips?

  7. again you dont need to loose your original chocbos you can keep them itll just take alittle bit before you can use them again thats how i got my blue and green one and again sorry about this im just sayin and giving my opinion

  8. thanks fo these vids, they rock. a little tip for people having trouble in races if you hold R1+R2 it slowly refills the chocobo’s stamina, it even works while you’re making the chocobo sprint. Then again these steroid pumped chocobos don’t really need help

  9. I keep trying to breed the new parents and I keep getting either a green male or a blue female and I already have a green female.All I need is a blue male but I just can’t get it. I think I’ll explore the sunken ship and try again later.

  11. @NAS24571 Gender doesnt matter as long as its the correct type (Black, blue, regular, or Good and Great )

  12. Hey i got a green but female chocobo….Will that change anything if i mate it with the blue chocobo??

I had a blue male chocobo and decided to name it Cid, since he’s one of my favorite characters and his name is badass, and when I was racing it to rank S Cid came out of the party and asked to ride my blue chocobo and when I let him ride it, Cid’s(chocobo) stamina went up to 999! Maybe if I name the black one Zack…

  16. i have green male chocobos from his parents and i have also blue female chocobos frm his parents also but i still cant mate them..? ahould i do??? plss help me….

  22. man i got a blue male and i want a green female but i can only get green males… i restart a million times and i can get only green males…

    is there a possibility that only exist green males? i dont want restart all over again

  24. well, u could go into the barn from the world map and back out to the world map twice then mate. if that doesn’t work, restart and do that 3 times instead. if that doesn’t work, etc, etc. it worked for me 🙂

  25. i’m sorry guys, but this guy BARELY knows what he’s on about. some of his methods are pretty unorthadox, and some are outright stupid.

    i’d post a guide myself if i had the means to record game footage (which i don’t)
