(Please Read) Due to the lengh of the video I had to split it up. Sorry if it causes any problems… This is my official guide on getting a Gold Chocobo, Gotta say it took me a while so Iam going to go through and put down some of the info I mention in here just so no one gets confused. So pay attention! The monster and Chocobo combination to ensure the kinds of chocobo’s you will need. Good Chocobo Can be found in the Golden Saucer Area The chocobo must be accompanied by Spencer Great Chocobo Can be found in the Mideel area The chocobo must be accompanied by Spiral Wonderful Can be found in the Icicle Inn area Chocobo must be accompanied by Hopper (NOTHING ELSE) Good +Great + A Rank = Blue or Green Blue + Green+ A Rank= Black Black + Wonderful+ A Rank = Gold Remember a Chocobos gender is not determined untill you move it in the stables at the ranch. Overall this little guide took me alot of time to put together

It Keeps annoying me that he;s calling them Cocoabos
it wont let me move my chocobo from the fench to the stable
i have the great 1 nd i saved so no problem there but it wont let me move him

You only have to run the short course 3 times and the same thing will happen, which I figured out after getting my Black Chocobo! ^_^
@ay0will well if you breeding to go smoothly, you will have to race them, its the only way to get class A. But if your not looking to breed or race them, then sure dont bother.
Do you have to feed them if you don’t want to race them
I downloaded this game for my PS3 and the chocobos on it are not genderless until you put them in the stable because I saved my game before I went to put it in the stable and I reloaded it like 10 times trying to get a male but it kept being female. Did they mod this game in any way?

again im sorry not to be rude but i did three short races and my chocobos went up a rank it doesnt really matter but your doin great tho keep it up

What’s the name of the enemy to catch the good female? I’m writing dowm instructions because I’m going down to alabama to visit my dad and sis and they have the game. I want something to do.
I tried your trick about 5 times I keep getting a great female. did I do something wrong?
hey dude i put my chocobos up to rank S and i mate them but they dont produce a gold chocobo.I already have a black and wonderful chocobo and i ngive them a zeio nut but dont produce a gold chocobo.whats wrong?

@WhiteTaino the glitch is the follow:
use w-item and select the greens u want to feed ur chocobo. NOTE: u need at least 2.
then select the target.
chose another item but cancel selection of the target.
chose again and cancel
keep doing this until u get 99 greens

you can use the W-item glitch to get 99 sylkis greens
(this can be found in bone village while looking for good treasures if u missed it in midgar)
Maybe the random reset thing has to do with soft reset and hard reset. like Actual turning power off or quitting the game on psp. I just tried soft reset twice and got female twice. Trying hard reset now
feed them to keep getting better control of them and you dont need a rank to get mountin or river chocobo
Silkys or however its spelled will raise up just about ALL the stats..
can anyone tell me which green you need to raise a chocobos speed
