I have a question: If I want to avoid the cost of buying an already grown tree, can I buy seeds? If so, what kind of seeds?
This guy reminds me of my friendly grandpa. I wish he was my neighbour so he could help me out.
@MrSmartComment yea maybe i put some stuff on it but its brown and crunchy i think its dead and my cat will eat it if i take it inside oh well im going to get another tree. Thanks. 🙂
might be mold , fungus or something. Try spraying your tree with fungicide, pesticide ( just make sure that you dont use full force, bout 0,25 – 0,33 of recomended quantity.) If you have smog , take it inside, spray it’s leaves with water ( distilled best because there is no leftover when the water dries) and if that doesn’t work, go to some online bonsai forum , post pictures of your tree and yell HELP, MY TREE IS DYING. Good luck, hope your tree lives
@shadowace421 I just got the tree in February, and I pruned it for the first time like two weeks ago. How much do I need to prune off the tree and how often?

O.C people can’t have bonsai. Geddit?
My tree’s leaves are HUGE, all of them are. They don’t look anything like the average bonsai tree I see. Am I somehow doing something wrong? :s
@PerspectiveStudios yea not much i can do about the light i take it to the roof when i tan but my balcony dont get much light sometimes. Its all brown and crunchy now i think its dead but i still water it maybe it’ll come back if not i’ll get another. Thanks.
@jdfox1 i just got a bonsai tree, and it says on the label that if you water it too much, there can be a fungal infection. Maybe water it less and give it a bit more light?
so when you trim the tree does the trunk get thicker but the leaves stay the same size so it looks like a full grown ttree just to a very small scale
it is very difficult to take care of these dame trees i had one and it was cool but i did not no how to but it in a different pot so it died
