Development and foundation history:
– Founded in October 1976 for the purpose of offering employments to many members in the Woman Association at that time. Therefore, the Woman Association in Vinh Long Town hold to make it easy for the members to be apprenticed and as a result of the foundation of the arts & handicraft manufactory, owned by Mrs Nam Mui,with only 20 employees, mainly trading with knitting handicraft based on the traditional experiences of the craftsmen.
  – In October 1996, it enlarged and developed to be Vinh Long Co-operative with more than 100 employees. In July 2003, Vinh Long Co-operative developed and privated to be Vinh Long Import- Export Manufacturing Joint Stock Company with more than 300 employees, mainly dealing with knitting handicraft based on the the traditional experiences of the craftsmen. The equipment and tool have been innovated step by step, applied advanced technological science,modern technological line into production..
  – After more than 2 years of operation, machine and equipment were machined, applying many advanced sciences into knitting handicraft. The scale of manufacturing was enlarged continuously including one central office located in Lot A1, Area C, Hoa Phu Industrial Park, Thanh Hung Hamlet, Long Ho District, Vinh Long Province; two representative offices located in 9 Pham Hung St., Ward 9, Vinh Long Town and 57/10 Lam Van Beb St. Tan Kien Ward, Dist. 7, HCMC, many manufactories located in many other districts in Vinh Long Province, many other manufactories located from North to South such as: Ha Tay, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa, BInh Duong, Long An, Tien Giang, Dong Thap, Ben Tre, Tra VInh, Can Tho, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Kien Giang….
  – The business has been enlarged continuously, diversified products. Nowadays, the company has moer than 40 articles: rattan mat, sleeping mat, table carpet, tea tray, box, basket, hat, cupboard, bookshelf, curtain, pillow and other items, equipment and tool using for family and office.
