HELP!!!!! my female has gone through brumation, (the male hasn’t) and the male does bob his head at her and then just watches how long should i leave them to mate, yes they are both at least two and a half years old, no mating has occured at all!!! HELP!!!!!
Hey I just wanted to know why my beardies arnt mating ? There both around 19inches long & both 2yr+ old. The male always bobbles his head & his beard is jet black but the female doesnt give in & he gets on her & bites her ear but no mating ever happens. can you tell me whats going on?

sick how old was ure beardy when it bred my ones a two years old and have not have babies yet hes tried but the girl will run away they could be brother and sister cause i got it from the same breeder about 2 weeks apart but im going to breed 2 of my mates ones i have to friends that have two aswell and they turn a year old in like 1 month any way thx

As I am a first time breeder I lack in knowledge of breeding bearded dragons. I have tried to mate them before, didn’t work to well, to aggressive. Could you tell me how I could breed them next time. Also I think maybe the female is a little smaller than the male, so should I bulk her up to max his size?
can you buy one or two females and breed them wth the male and after they lay the eggs return or sell th females or will the male freak out because his mates are gone
my friends have got a male and a female, and they know each other exist,but they cant breed for at least a couple of months yet, to six months;well, the male beardie has changed, they both like one another, but he has gone really, sort of, love-lorn, and like he is sad. they want to know is this usual/common, and would it be better for them to not see each other until a bit before mating time? they love their beardies lots, and do not want to create any stresses for either of the beardies 🙂
