@Geraldkyt how long have they been beetles? you wont know when they breed.. and when they lay the eggs you cant see them they are wayy too small. You wont know until you see babies, even then the babies are very tiny when they hatch from the eggs… be patient
I bought 50 meal worms and they’ve changed into beetles. I was hoping that they’d breed, but this doesn’t seem to have happened. I have them in bran and I’ve fed them carrots, potatoes, apples, bananna…but nothing seems to be working. How do I get them to breed?

and ya i forgot about what u told me mine finally “superworms” have got to the pupa and then what i done is put them if i diffrent tube and then what do i do after that???

keep them in your fridge door, they go dormant. it will look like they are dead but they are not. Dont put them in the back of the fridge because its too cold, be sure to keep them in the door

do you mean bedding, or food? if you mean food then no, they need the moisture in apples, potatoes. etc. if you mean bedding there shouldnt be a problem, not many people do it because it grows mold very fast.
is it bad to keep the meal worms on bread crumbs?

im not sure what you mean. but do not keep them together, chances are the superworms will eat the mealworms

can i ask how long after they turn into beetles do they mate, breed, lay eggs and die? I have just noticed how much breeders/seelers they have hiked the price of mealworms and fancy giving this a go with the ones i have left. Thanks
