Company introduction

Phu Chi Private Enterprise was established in 1994 as a specialist dried seafood processor. In the beginning, the company operated from a 1,500 sq meters rented factory located in Central Vietnam with an annual production capacity of only 50 to 80 mt. As demand for our dried seafood products grew, the company decided to build its own factory on 3,800 sq meters parcel of land located on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City in the year of 2000.
Incorporating the latest foreign production technology, the new factory was designed and construct works on 15 July, 2001 to have a production capacity of 120 – 150 mt per year with better and higher quality standard control.
In 2003, the factory space was expended to 5,000 sq meters to increase production capacity of 200 – 300 mt per year and the company has plan to expand the cold room capacity from 200 – 400 mt in the long term.
In year 2006, Phu Chi Private Enterprise obtain ISO 9001:2000/Haccp No: 23352 and Halal Certificate No. 44. The following year obtain Haccp No. HK 480 certified by NAFIQAd (for EU/US food and drug administration).
At present moment, we are processing consumer products like fried anchovy fillet, crispy baby shrimp, barbecue fish meat etc. We are planning to produce organic pet food, fish protein paste/powder, and fish bone calcium powder in the coming years. Thus, we will increase our cold room facility from 400 mt to 500 mt in year 2010.
All our consumer products will pass through UV treatment and metal detector before export. We work on customer requirements and will pack the products in house brand or customer’s brand.
