• The precursor of the company is Hai phong Flavor Enterprise, it was founded and started its operation since May 1955 under Hai phong Industry Department.

From 1983 to 1999: thanks to equipment and technology renovation, Hai phong Export Tea Factory was established under Vietnam Tea Corporation.

• Since 2000 Hai phong Tea Company was restructured basing on the unify of Hai phong Export Tea Factory and Export-Import Branch of Vinatea in Haiphong. The company’s production is now quickly developing, working productivity fast increase, annual output from 600-1,000 tons/year with various of kinds: black tea, green tea, Linh son lotus tea, Tuyet son tea …

Production capacity of Vinatea Hai phong:

• Vinatea Hai phong has a dry tea preservation system with total area of over 5,100 m² , its space of 11,000m² is extremely convenient for receiving and transporting tea by containers.

• Vinatea Hai phong has 1 tea mixture and refinement factory with a synchronous and modern production line imported from Japan, Taiwan and China. Total mixing and refining capacity is 5,000 tons/year.

Vinatea Hai phong has 1 processing factory of black tea and green tea from dry materials and tea scenting system from fresh flower and grass with its capacity of 300 tons/year.

• Vinatea Hai phong has a team of skillful manpower in the fields: tea refinement, tea manufacture, foreign trading warehouse and foreign trading technique.
