tải xuống (15) BUCHAREST (Commodity Online) : World’s largest Wheat buyer Egypt purchased 60,000 tons of wheat from Romania.

According to Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), it has bought 60,000 tons of Romanian wheat from Ameropa company at $278 per tone.

The total acquisition amounts to $16.6 million, and the wheat deliveries will take place from early October.

GASC purchased a total of 240,000 tonnes of wheat, 180,000 tonnes from Russia, and the rest from Romania. From Russia, purchases of 60,000 tonnes each, were made from Cargill, Bunge and Aston companies, at prices between $272.9 to $ 277.5 per tonne.

Egypt announced in July they could include Romania and Ukraine on the list of suppliers with wheat, but the decision depends on the quality of the crops and the capacity to insure delivery.
