Company introduction
Established in 1989 named as Fisheries Development Corporation of HCM City (FIDECO) under the Decision 144/QÄ-UB on 31 March 1989 of the People’s Committee of HCM City. Later on, the Corporation had become more diverse and changed its name to Foreign Trade Development and Investment Corporation under the Decision 693/QÄ-UB on 03 Dec 1991 of the People’s Committee of HCM City.
On 23 Dec 1993, the Company was approved by the People’s Committee of HCM City to change into joint stock Company, operating under the Company Law, with the same name as FIDECO.
Establishing License No.1489/GP-UB issued by the People’s Committee of HCM City on 23 Dec 1993;
Trading Registrar Certificate No.059081 at the Economic Arbitration of HCMC on 27 Dec 1993;
Import-Export License No.4.07.2.161/GP issued by the Ministry of Trade on 23 Mar 1994.
FIDECO total assets as of the end of 2005 are 40 million US Dollars.
