Long An Food Processing Export Joint Stock Company’s precursor was State-Owned Enterprise which was established in 1985. Its main business line was processing and exporting foodstuff. It’s specialized in producing and trading Cashew kernels from 1989.
During the past ten years, Lafooco’s charter capital has been increasing from VND 3.5 million ( in 1995 ) to VND 58 milliion ( in 2006 ). Lafooco’s production size has been enlarged. From the rudimental one with 2 hecta in area, it is now been developing with 4 branches at Binh Phuoc Province and Tan An town with 15 hecta in area.
