- Gardening shears
- Fill the vase halfway with the lukewarm water.
- Identify the citronella geranium blooms you want to cut. It’s important to cut the blooms at their peak so that the plant will rebloom later.
- Cut the stems at an angle with the gardening shears.
- Place the blooms in the vase of lukewarm water immediately after cutting them.
