Pokémon Breeding Demonstration/Tips

PLEASE stop asking questions if the video or guide I provided answers them. If you have a question, watch and read each thing again to see if it helps your situation. If it doesn’t, I will gladly help, but please try to let the video/guide answer your question first, that is why they are there! Also remember that this isn’t really a guide, more of a demonstration of what the real guide says: mountmoon.net Highlight and copy from http up to 4348 and paste it into a url bar, the NEW egg group pics are in, hopefully they are bigger and better, each zooms in so make sure you do that, then it is easily readable, again, highlight and copy from http but up to png: i140.photobucket.com i140.photobucket.com i140.photobucket.com Anyway, the deal with Energy Ball is that though it IS a TM, Vulpix cannot be taught the TM53 of Energy Ball. BUT, it is an egg move, just not the best example since it could confuse people with the TM moves. Hypnosis is a better example of one of Vulpix’s egg moves, since it will never learn Hypnosis through levelling up, only by breeding. Anyway, this is just a short video to help explain how to breed decent Pokémon. Most of this is explained in that URL at the top there, but this helps visually explain the different types of Egg moves, passing on natures, how to hatch eggs and so on. If you want to find out what can breed with what, that URL does have an attachment to a table, but you need to be a member to view it. However, there are these group tables

  1. @cookieparadise978 Can you use a word other than synchronize, because I think that’s the problem, I think there’s a different word which actually explains what you want better. Synchronizing means making different things the same, which in breeding makes little sense. Look in the breeding groups I provide, it gives suitable partners for Miltanks. And you can only get Female Miltanks, you can’t get Male ones. You can’t influence the gender of the egg, only natures and IVs.

  2. synchronizing pokemon for breeding..say i want to breed a miltank but i only have 1 and no ditto(i have both but i don’t always want to use a ditto)and i want to synchronize it to get a better chance of getting a male miltank…

  3. @cookieparadise978 I don’t understand your question, can you rephrase it please? Do you mean how do you get a Pokémon with the ability Synchronize? If you mean something to do with the ability Synchronize, look up the ability on Bulbapedia, it will tell you everything you need to know about it!

  4. @matz11123 Modest is Special Attack up, regular Attack down. Basically, if you have a Pokémon with a good SA stat and are going to make it attack with only SA moves, it’s a great nature to have, since you won’t be needing your Attack and no other stats are hindered. A Ninetales I have has Flamethrower, Nasty Plot, Hypnosis and Energy Ball, only Special Moves, so Modest is fantastic on it as an example.

  5. @runesword905 Combee can definitely breed (I just double checked in case I missed something). Did your Combee and Ditto both originate from the same game? Different species plus same original trainer = slowest average breeding time. Just run around loads and loads, they WILL make an egg if you’re using compatible Pokémon. If it doesn’t breed make sure the other Pokémon is one that can actually breed, not a legendary or a baby Pokémon.

  6. i have a prob my ditto doesnt breed with my combee for some reason …..
sometimes it doesnt breeed with anything at all! :'(

  7. @urwet Elekid is a baby Pokémon, it cannot breed. You need to evolve it for it to be able to breed with Ditto. Baby Pokémon a Pokémon who had pre-evolutions revealed AFTER the evolution, and Togepi is counted too. So Elekid, Magby, Bonsly, Munchlax, Wynaut, Azurill etc

  8. @SymphoniaFan101 No problem, sorry I couldn’t directly help. I have phases where I play Pokémon (I know nearly everything) and phases where I don’t (and forget some things), this is one of those ‘don’t’ phases. Glad I was able to help in some way!

  9. @SymphoniaFan101 Hey! Seismic Toss is a move tutor move, so you’d need to find a move tutor with the move, it can’t be bred. I can’t remember where you can learn it, it might be a Platinum HGSS thing only. Look it up on Bulbapedia, they know everything!

  10. @ROTWEILER09 Haha yeah! Although in cases like Skitty and Wailord or a Foretress and a Weedle, I really do have no idea how it gets there haha!

  11. dude thnx this is so cool pokemon breding but one thing is funny too me when you go to take the egg the old man says ” we have no idea how it got there ” lmao

  12. @lolwutdafk Yes that was, which shows how old this is, I forgot how old this is! Since I’ve had a bright green DS Lite for over a year and a half now!

  13. @rileyhyuuga Yeah haha, yeah you do. You put them in with the woman and talk to her to get them back. The man is the one you get eggs from if they produce one.

  14. @Tierdless Yeah a lot of it you find out yourself, this just clarifies, explains a bit more and describes all the hows and wheres to those who don’t! Well done!
