I have never tried that, I thought it might act the same as cat litter and turn to a glob of mushy clay when it got wet. If it dosent then it will work great.
I need to make some more Bonsai soil I am running low and the store I used to buy it from dosent carry it any more.
the best to use is napa auto parts floor dry it comes in 25 pound bags an it costs 6-8 bucks a bag an its 100% diatomite an it works very good
