They aren’t going to breed in a tank that small, that would be just fine for a fry tank but adults need a tank to be at least 10+ gallons and the water has to be between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. You also need rocks, a filter, plants, a light and places to hide. No pet store would purchase guppies from an unregistered breeder such as you self.

well i have prob. 15 tanks for them all plus my friend and i work together and she has about 15

i have tons of fry!!! i have 100 guppy,30 betta,20 cichlid,and 30 molly all from breeding…. the tank is fine but i would add some plants or toys to make them breed faster.
To breed guppies you need a 10-20 gallon tank. and you should buy a breeder net. I have experiance i have 3 guppies and about 80 fry
itm may work better if you put in some rocks and plants they will feel much more at home and u dont HAVE to have a filter mine had fry without a heater
i have 3 female guppies and 2 male is is ok

2 females and 2 males lol you will get TONS AND TONS OF FRYS you have to have 15 females and 3 male guppies if you 2 females 2 male guppys the females will die of stress

atleast get a 10 gal. tank for about 5 guppies since they are community fish. =/
if your tank is bellow 20 gal do not get a heater it can actually burn and kill your fish! get a thermometer, also check your PH. guppies like the PH in their tanks to be around 7.5 and the temp to be from 75-80 degrees F for breading you will need a bigger tank or they will not want to breed they don’t have any room in that one! also live plants are good! if you want most of the fry to survive get a baby saver tank. i hope this helps

ok i have guppies and i have guppy fry my guppy just had babies today and my other had babies a week ago ill will start by saying you need a bigger tank than that if they dont have space to move they will become stressed and they wont breed once you put them in a bigger tank put plants real ones are prefered and then make sure to have a filter and warm water they like warm water my guppies always mate but they have alot of room i hope this helps

right now u have a 1 gallon if you dont get a bigger tank they will die or if u dont get a heater they will get to cold and die you guppies wont breed if they are not at home get a plant to make them feel more at home a ten gallon a filter and a heater then you get cute little fry!
