Starting from a small workshop, specializes in making furniture for students since 1990, in Chuhdrong Commune, Pleiku, Gia Lai Province, HAGL JSC, directly run by Doan Nguyen Duc, has reached a strong progress and become a private group operating in many various fields. Some products such as indoor and outdoor furniture, granite wall tiles and rubber sap have been throughout most of the market of  European, Americas, Asia, Australia, New Zealand…. Representative offices have been set up in some countries to provide customers with opportunities to approach and trade conveniently and quickly with the group.

Beside maintaining and expanding export market, HAGL Group has been developing domestic market by setting a system of wooden furniture and granite supermarket with huge scales in 5 main urban centers in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh city, Hai Phong , Da Nang ,Can Tho.

HAGL has been appreciated one of the leading furniture manufacturers nationwide for many years  and voted “high quality Vietnamese goods” by customers.

With the advantages of the capital, human resources, plentiful raw material, and strong brand name, HAGL has  focused on expanding investment into real estate such as building commercial  centers, high-class apartments, office for rent and  a chain of 4 and 5 star- hotels and resorts  in Ho Chi Minh City, Da L at, NhaTrang, Gia Lai, Da Nang, Qui Nhon to exploit promising tourist potential of our country.

Under the leadership of Chairman Doan Nguyen Duc  together with the unity of the excellent, experienced, caring workers, HAGL Group has been developing and growing constantly.Since the establishment of the factory, the workforce of HAGL group has been increasing significantly from 200 staffs to 7000 staffs and the turnover from VND 200 billion in the first year to VND 1200 billion in 2005.

The strategic development of the company is to build a closed process through vertical intergration which includes industries as furniture manufacturing, granite processing, factories of fitting and processing aluminum and glass, construction and real estate…to  minimize  risk and increase the efficiency and effectiveness.

From now to 2010, HAGL Group strives  to be one of top corporations in providing high-class and commercial centers in Vietnam and to expand operation to other countries in Southeast  Asia simultaneously.

Important events

Establishment: Hoang Anh, a privately owned company and the predecessor of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company, was established in 1993.

Transforming to a joint stock company: During 2006, Hoang Anh, the privately-owned company, was converted into a joint stock company and renamed as Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company.

Share listing: On 22 December 2008, the Company’s shares were officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.
