Dong Nai Livestock Company (Dolico)

Dong Nai Livestock Company (Dolico) is a state company which was founded basing on the Decision 97/QD/UBT promulgated on Feb 17,1978 by the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province, and was later refounded basing on the Decision 2116/QD/UBT, promulgated on Nov 19,1992 by the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province about the re-foundation of state companies, and basing on the Decree 388/HDBT promulgated on Nov 10, 1991 and the Decree 156/HDBT on May 7,1992 by the Council of Ministers ( which is now the Government).
Dong Nai Livestock Company is an economic, managing and technical unit specializing in livestock and food processing. The Company includes:
+ Vinh Cuu pig variety farm(Traïi heo gioáng Vónh Cöûu)
+ Vinh Cuu farm of pork products (Trại heo thịt thương phẩm Vĩnh Cửu).
+ Cattle’s food processing factory (Phân xưởng chế biến thực phẩm gia súc) .
+ Meat processing factory (Phân xưởng chế biến súc sản).

Principal activities of the Livestock Company:
– Producing pig varieties and pork products. For years, pig varieties and pork products of the Company have been cross-bred and mutiplicated from high-quality varieties of countries which have advanced technology on livestock, such as the United States, France, and Canada. Therefore, our products become more and more favorable in the market.
– Producing and processing meat included lean pork paste, pig’s head paste, liver pâteù, etc., with modern production line, using clean sources of raw materials and no chemical substances, under the control of the Center of Preventive Medicine of Dong Nai Province about hygiene and safety standards of food. Products under DOLICO trademark are sold at all agents in Dong Nai province, and at Saigon Co-op Supermarkets in HCMC.
– Organizing artificial insemination service, livestock technology service, and counselling service for livestock investors in Dong Nai province
– Carrying on import-export businesses on varieties of domestic animals, materials, machines and equipments, raw materials for livestock and for processing farm products.
– Trading and supplying general service for livestock development
– Being a joint-venture partner joining 15.82% of the registered capital, and being a founding member of Proconco Vietnam-France Joint-venture, which produces TAGS “CONCO”, at Bien Hoa I Indusrtial Zone.
