Langa Sugar Cane and Sugar Company was previously a national business founded in 1984 by the preferential borrowed capital and non-reimbursement aid from Denmark Government. It was transformed into a joint-stock company since April 1 st, 2000.

Today LSCSJC has already got a stable cane plantation which collects and processes from 300.000 to 350.000 ton of canes every year.

Since 2006 the company has applied ISO 9001-2000 in the management of the quality of all manufacture factories and departments.

The company now has:

03 cane production plantations providing more than 45% materials for processing plants each year.

A sugar processing plant dealing with 2500 ton per day, with the productivity of 180 ton per day, providing for markets from 40.000 to 50.000 ton per year with all types of sugar such as refined sugar (RE), high-quality white refined sugar, white sugar and apricot yellow sugar.

A plank production factory with the productivity of 7000 m3 per year, of all types.

A biodegradable orgarnic fertilizer factory with the productivity of 5000 ton per year, of all types.

A mechanical factory which provides processing and repairing service and installs equipment inside and outside the company.

An experimental farm with an area of 100 ha, providing from 2500 to 4000 ton of seed canes per year.
