The Central Highland province of Dak Lak is preparing to attend the “Vietnam Festival†in Alexanderplatz in Berlin, in Germany on August 28-29, according to the provincial Trade, Investment and Tourism Promotion Department.
The festival aims to promote the local tourism sector’s investment potential as well as introduce the Buon Ma Thuot coffee trademark and the Buon Ma Thuot coffee festival which will be held in March 2011.
*** In recent days, agricultural products in Dak Lak province have gone up in price compared to late June. The price of pepper is now up by VND5,500 to VND62,000 per kilogram and that of cacao by VND2,700 to VND58,000 per kilogram.
The provincial Department of Industry and Trade has attributed the price hike to a shortage of supply and soaring export prices in the world.
