Ton Phat Crocodile was established in 1987 specialising mainly in farming Siamensis crocodiles for the meat and its by-products. Since then we are in the process of diversifying in the farming of salt water crocodiles (Porosus) as well.
The 7 ha-farm is situated 50 kilometres North-West of Ho Chi Minh City, Rang hamlet, Trung Lap Thuong commune, Cu Chi district.
We have well trained staff to look after our 2000 breeders and more than 20 000 heads all of various ages and sizes. Special care is taken with our crocodiles and with that in mind we have built 6000 single pens where the crocodiles are kept for up to eight months mainly for the purpose of producing top quality skins hence resulting in top quality leather.
Ton Phat Crocodile Company Limited was established on April 26, 2002.
In 2005 it was felt to value add and to maximize revenue, we had to build our own tannery to tan our skins and that was followed by the addition of a leather goods manufacturing plant on site on the farm. Ton Phat is also in the process of building its own abattoir on site. All the facilities have been put on site with the aim to have better quality control on our end products.
The abattoir will cater for all the crocodile meat which satisfies all health and safety requirements and we sell them for local market and export.
Our tannery is fully equipped with state of the art equipment purchased from Italy. We tan all exotic leathers such as crocodile, ostrich, python and fish as well. Our leather is finished in either aniline, polished, matt or glazed and in any color all according to the customers needs.
Our tanning technology is provided to us by very well experienced leather technicians from Australia, France and Italy. We do not take our tanning for granted or compromise our quality. Our motto is “ OUR LEATHER SHOULD LAST SEVERAL LIFETIMES â€
Our leather goods manufacturing plant enable us to produce in large volumes whilst still maintaining the highest quality of workmanship on which we pride ourselves. Our head designer has been trained by some of the best designers in Asia andItaly. Our workers also receive extensive amount of training and spend enormous amount of time perfecting the products. Our products range from handbags, purses, wallets, belt and shoes as well. We can make products upon request of the customers.
Our products are sold locally and internationally. We already have a shop located in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City 48 Le Loi St, Ben Nghe Ward, in Nha Trang 66 Tran Phu St, Loc Tho Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa province, where our goods are displayed and sold to the public.
