• The Company is 500 meters far from train station, 3 kilometers far from airport and very close to trading center of Ho Chi Minh City.

1. Establishment and Development Process

SADACO is a State-owned company established in 1987 in order to do the social economic developing co-operation in Daklak which was contracted by People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Daklak province.
In 2005, effectuating the privatize policy of People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, SADACO converted into Joint Stock Company with initial charter capital of 14,900,000,000 VND (In words: fourteen billion and nine hundred million VN dongs) in which State owns 20%. It has officially come into operation since 1st November, 2006.
The Company is a member of SATRA Group, one of biggest Commercial ones in Vietnam and also registers as a public company according to State Securities Commission of Vietnam’s stipulation.
In over 20 years, our company’s staffs have continuously tried their best to develop company. With their much effort, until now our company has established 17 branches including six factories of processing forest products in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province; four branches in Hanoi, Nghe An, Daknong, Binh Thuan; one hotel-restaurant and six Centers and Services.
With the labor force of more 1200 people and management groups including specialists, technicians at college and university level, our Company gets annual turnover from 200 to 300 million dongs.
2. Products

Products of our company include:

• Finished wooden products

• Exploiting and processing forest products including items made from bamboo and wood.

To improve the quality of products, our company has been applying quality control system according to ISO 9001:2000, which makes customers much trust on SADACO. The SADACO brand name has been know more and more widely. This result in many prizes such as: Sao Vang Dat Viet, Golden cup of Top ten Vietnam brand name, Entrepreneur of Prestige and Quality, Well-known brand name, Typical Saigon Businessman, Products of WTO standards and other medals as well as prizes, etc.

3. Direction of Development to 2015

From 2015, the direction of trading and manufacturing development will focus on the following key targets:

• In the field of processing forest products, our company will set up a group of workshops which focus on processing refined wooden products for export in the area of 250 ha in Binh Chanh District. Our company pays much attention to improve products’ quality to enter United States and European markets.

• In the field of trading and service, our company will upgrade SADACO hotel to 3-star standard with the scope of 80 to 100 rooms, to diversify tourism services including event celebration, air-ticket agent, foreign travel, tourism cars.

• To customs service, our company is on the way to develop logistic activities.

• In property business, our company is going to develop some projects such as Duc Loi industry zone of 100 ha (belong to Duc Hoa Industry Zone in Long An province), office building for lease in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, garden villas for tourism in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, commercial centre and residential building in Thu Duc.

• Those projects will be executed under many ways such as getting bank loan, increasing charter capital, co-operating with local and foreign investors.
