The history of company

Ngoc Tung Manufacturing, Trading, and Servicing Ltd. Company was formed on August, 22th, 1997 in accordant with the disicion No. 1961/GP/TLDN of People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. In the first period of founding, the company was specilized in pesticide and fertilizer trading. The core markets are the Mekong Delta, the South East, and the Central Highlands (Tay Nguyen).

From 1998, the potential for Vietnamese agricultural development have been more and more enormous. The pesticide manufacturing of domestic factories did not meet the high demands of farmers. In order to develop Ngoc Tung brand name as well as better serve farmers in their crops, The Board of Directors decided to invest building the Factory under Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s permission, and register the company’s brand name. The company steps by steps develops the company’s trademark as a friend supporting farmers in protecting their crops. “Ngoc Tung togerther with farmers protect crops” is the mission statement of the company

Mission

The achievements of Ngoc Tung Company in manufacturing, trading, and improving the brand name:

Through out ten years of operation and development, the distribution and sales network of the company has been more and more expanding. Prior to the year 2000, Ngoc Tung Co. had only about 30 agents concentrated in the Mekong Delta. From the end of year 2006, the agent’s network has expanded to more than 300 agents all over the country spreading from Lang Son province to Ca Mau province.

In the first year (2000), the company only manufactured and sold about 300 tons of products of all kinds. Form 2006, the company has produced and sold over 3,300 tons of products of all kinds. On the avarage each year the manufaturing’s rate of the company increase about 50% in comparision with that of the previous year.

Prestigious titles gained by the company:

+ “High Quality Products of Viet Nam” for three years 2005-2006-2007. The poll is conducted every year by Sai Gon Marketing Magazines and voted by customers.

+ “Ngoc Tung: Friend of Vietnamese Famers” for three years 2004-2005-2006. The award is organized every year by International Agriculture Farm of Viet Nam, confered by Agricultural and Rural Development Department.

+ At International Agriculture Farm 2005 celebrated in Can Tho City, pesticide products of Ngoc Tung were awarded six gold medals and four certifications (decision No. 490/QĐ-BTC HCTLPT ngày 8/12/2005 ).

+ At Agricultural Farm EXPO 2006 in Soc Trang, Ngoc Tung was awarded an honour title of “Gold Quality Brandname” and considered as a business that supporting Vietnamese rual areas in development process and integration into the modern world.
