  1. they dont seem like there in dire living conditions its adequate especialy for feeder rats , they have food water and such , remember people these are not pet rats they are for the purposes of feeding another pet so they dont have all the luxuries of the pets

  2. @williamjgleed LMFAO. you sounded like you had a point until you screamed cock at the end ahahhahahahha nice man

  3. the only problems i see are:

the plastic containers that dont have much ventilation
u can still use them but on the lid u can cut out a piece and use wire mesh to provide better ventilation… or u know u can just get other cages

and to avoid them getting sick and being safe u should clean the litter out every day or every other day… u know just to be safe

  4. ok everyone complaining ur the one that clicked on the video so dont crap it was ur choice to watch freekin retards have no lifes to complain about someones video that u clicked on and to make it worse ur arguing on a virtual website i mean come on grow some nads and argue face to face cowards

  5. People give them rat nuggets because they want their rats to have all of the nutrients. If you give them museli/that WHOLEGRAIN stuff selective feeding will occur and your rats will become ill thorugh deficiencies.

  6. man, people are mean to you. You are doing it right, they are just arrogant. Jesus, american red necks.

  7. um at 1:12 of the video, what kind of rack is that? is it just a pull out plastic storage thing? thanks.
    and cool setup btw

  8. Sure, it must be empty for them to poop in it. However it really doesn’t matter how long its been empty, they will poop in it almost right away. My guys have a fresh, clean dish of food daily. They poop on it while they eat! And one big meal for them a day is very much enough! All fat and happy. Cleaning their tanks twice a week works just fine. My guys are always soft like bunny’s. Not a single one bites.

  9. well with ure lack of education that has been shown here i thought u were a child.

Breeding rats for food and as pets are 2 different things , i myself have a rack for rats as well . once a week cleaning and food is never placed in there tubs , only on the wire mesh . there is no noticeable smell from them .U cant compare ure set up vs any other as u have a different goal for the rats .

  10. Also, rats only poop in their food dishes when they are empty (It’s a hint) and they don’t smell unless you let their cages go for a week at a time without cleaning. the rats food dish must be empty so often they have mistaken it for a litter box. My rats know because one has food 24/7 and the other one poop.

  11. Ew you spent three hundred dollars on that piece of shit? I spent less then that on my MASSIVE ferret cage that will home 10+ rats, and it’s big enough that they can turn around or stand up, unlike your death storage units. I have one of those too. I paid 15 dollars for it. I clean all 6 of my cages on a regular basis and they are wayyyyyy bigger then that shit hole. So I can only imagine the rank smell coming from that shed. You can’t afford shit. Lol everything you have is crappy.

  12. Uhh it’s miss to you moron. You’re calling ME the uneducated idiot? Did you even read the comment from the ‘educated rat breeder’ that’s an uneducated retard right there. Lol really who ends a sentence with COCK! Ohh good for you, you can make retarded euro insults. I guess that means you’re right

  13. I get that your snakes have to eat. But as poofoosaz has said, couldn’t you at least kill the rats humanely first, as they would still be fresh?

  14. U sir are an uneducated idiot, once a week is proper cleaning schedule . many of the best rat breeders ure these methods and there animals are top notch, b4 u criticize lean a bit.

  15. ok a) is fine, so is b) c) d) (and well done on you tbh)

but e) couldn’t you kill them first? not freeze them, just kill the rats/pinkies humanely first and then feed them?

  16. Fuck you, dam ignorant CUNT!!
how is once a week not good enough??, how is a $300 dollar snake rack not good Enough, plus a home mad one and countless vivariums!?
when i say i cant afford the frozen i mean i cant be fucked to waste my money on dead animals!!! and would rather give my snake’s 45% more nutrients that frozen loose!

lets be realistic an animal that shits in it’s food bowl, is going to smell! even if you clean them daily!
    COCK!

  17. You’re an idiot. This is disgusting, no wonder they stink if you just clean the cages once a week you lazy basturd. All you talk about in your video is how to be cheap. I’ve got news for you buddy, exotic pet aren’t cheap so if you can’t afford it then don’t keep them. It’s sick that animals have to suffer because you can’t care for them. I’d hate to see how your snakes live.

  18. O.k
    a) You can breed males for as long as you want it’s the females that need the time out which they get, males wont breed if they cant be bothered!
    b) They are no longer in plastic containers, i have 4 small cages an 2 chin chilla cages housing 3 rats each,
    c) they are now on Hay and Rat Liter co’
    d) I clean them once a week!
    e) I have a lot of snakes and i cant afford to keep buying frozen, + a lot of them wont eat frozen!

  19. also, as 0.40 ish, that wheel looks far too small for your lad/girls.

if you didnt breed them back to back, changed the substrate, gave “Freddie” a proper friend and stopped feeding live then I wouldn’t have so much of a problem.

And if you clean them out, they dont stink, I have 13 rats and if you put the work in, they dont smell.

  20. Watched both vids, I supose you don’t really care about this but hey. This is whats wrong:
    a) you seem to be back to back breeding. disgusting for those poor animals.
    b) keep your “breeders” in plastic containers which have very little ventilation making ammonia potent and resp. infections high risk.
    c) keep them on sawdust (again resp. issues)
    d) they dont stink, thats your neglect at not cleaning them out enough.
    e) you feed them “live” to your another animals. yea, ethical, much.
